About Rainer Maria Latzke
Rainer Maria Latzke is considered one of the most important muralists of our time. Inspired by the masterpieces of the Renaissance, he revived the art of mural painting and brought colours and inspiring dream worlds into modern architecture. His works adorn the walls of Arabian royal palaces, public buildings such as the Vienna City Hall, luxury hotels such as the Ciraghan Palace in Istanbul, cruise ships such as the world's largest sailing ship, the Royal Clipper, and industrial companies such as Daimler Benz and Maserati. The Tribune Herald described him as the ‘Modern Michelangelo’, Forbes magazine called him one of the pioneering artists of the end of the last century and the Artists Trade Union of Russia included him in its list of the best painters of the last four centuries.
